- 42 three-foot-long poles - PVC pipe, white, 1½ in. (SHD 40), top 12 inches of the poles painted fluorescent red or orange
- 42 pole bases - ¾-inch, CDX-grade (or better) plywood or high density polyethylene (HDPE)*, sufficient to create, 1½ in. (±½ in.) × 12 in. × 12 in. (nominal)
- 42 tennis balls - each with a 12-inch loop of nylon string attached (to attach tennis balls to poles)
- Two 4 ft. × 4 ft. sheets of ¾-inch CDX-grade (or better) plywood - for placement under barrels
- 500 ft. brightly colored string line - for Zigzag Corridor and Test Site layout use
- Paint (orange or red) - for painting the poles and chain
- Paint (white) - for identifying the barrels, marking the overhaul ball, and circles
OPTIONAL EXAM MATERIALS:
- 2 Empty Steel Drums – 55-gallon drum with approximate 22-inch outside diameter and 34 inches high, open at one end
- Spirit level - to verify levelness (minimum 2 ft. length)
- 2 tape measures - 100 ft.
- One tape measure - 30 ft. steel
- 2 Stopwatches - for Examiner and Proctor
- 2 Clipboards - for Examiner and Proctor
